USI Construction Engineering Department provides location and grade surveying for roads, bridges, sewers, drainage ditches, building projects, parking lots, and utilities. We develop and establish construction control by using electronic total stations and data collectors, as well as, GPS RTK technology. Through direct downloading of coordinate data from software to data collector, speed and accuracy measurably improves in staking a project. USI Construction Engineering Department also develops data prep files for machine-controlled equipment. USI utilizes AutoCAD to develop surface files and then process that information through Trimble Business Center to produce machine ready files.
