Bridge Inspection

USI Bridge Inspection
Having bridge inspection experience extending back more than 30 years, USI completed National Bridge Inspection Programs (NBIS) for over 16 Indiana Counties. Our Executive Vice President, Philip Beer II, developed the first automated system for bridge inspections in Indiana. This technological innovation was later adopted by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) as an industry standard.

USI’s inspectors retain all the certifications and are prequalified to perform specialty inspection services including, underwater inspection by an experienced three person dive team. Having been the first firm in Indiana to provide underwater inspection services, USI maintains more than the recommended standards in qualifications, safety, and accountability.

Our firm employs an expert team of bridge inspectors who provide regular, in-depth, fracture critical, scour critical, and underwater bridge inspections in accordance with the FHWA’s National Bridge Inspection Program. USI offers ALL qualifications for structural inspections from culverts and small structures to superstructures.
